Richard Galvan, Technical Product Manager for Adobe Flash recently announced the latest Flash update – Flash 10.0.2. To update, either download the updater, or run the updater directly from Flash by opening Flash and going to the the Help menu and selecting Updates.

This update addresses a number of performance issues. Some key fixes are:

- performance issues when dragging objects on stage, scrubbing the timeline, or entering symbol edit mode in large AS 2.0 and AS 3.0 files.

- performance issues when opening large files or files with many nested symbols.

- performance issues when working in the library such as scrolling, selecting items in the library, dragging item to stage, or editing symbol from library.

For a complete list of the changes and bug fixes in this update, take a look at the article on Richard’s blog.

Adobe recently launched INSPIRE – A publication from the Adobe Experience Design team. The content on the site comes from the designers on the Adobe XD team, who have unique histories and perspectives on design.

The publication contains articles and videos on design topics related to Adobe products. After each article (or video), the site provides a place for you to leave your comments and feedback.

This is a great resource for knowing what goes on behind the scenes at Adobe in regards to experience design. And – maybe even more importantly, it allows you to provide feedback. Is there something you particularly like about the design of CS4? Something you dislike? This is the venue to make your comments heard, and be part of the community feedback.

As the team so eloquently states:

After all, design is a conversation, the point of which is to ultimately improve the software we use daily.
