motion is an annual two-day event that I co-produce with Becky Padilla. motion is known for bringing together the brightest and most creative minds in the motion graphics, visual effects {VFX}, and animation industries. Hundreds of brilliant minds come together every October to discuss trends, address relevant industry issues, and share their skills, work, and creative insight.

Nov 07It’s time for Albuquerque’s very own Barcamp! For those of you who haven’t had the time to keep up with the ‘latest’ – a BarCamp is an extemporaneous sharing of knowledge. BarCamp’s website defines as: “an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from attendees.”

May 17Today is LiveSTRONG Day! I am here in Washington, D.C. celebrating LiveSTRONG Day as one of the two representatives selected by the Lance Armstrong Foundation from the state of NM. Our goal is two-fold – to learn about advocacy, and then to use those skills to talk to my state representatives here in D.C. It’s a remarkable experience. I am hear with 99 other delegates from across the country – two from each state.
