Well, it’s finally here! I am counting down the hours until the ‘official’ release of Adobe Creative Suite 3. It’s only hours away.

Why am I so excited about this release? To sum it up – I think it is absolutely awesome!

I admit, when Adobe first acquired Macromedia, I had my doubts. We’re we going to loose the company I had grown to love – a company who listened to their end-users and built the tools they asked for? I am sure I wasn’t alone.

Today is a big day for those of us who work in the field of graphic design, web development or video. In case you haven’t heard, today Adobe will be announcing a whole Creative Suite 3. And believe me, this is big!

If you live in Albuquerque or Santa Fe, I would like to personally invite you to explore the new line-up. From InDesign to Photoshop, Flash to Premiere the products – and more importanly – the integration between products are outstanding. Workflow is the key. Today’s event marks the largest software release in the company’s 25-year history.

Sometimes I imagine what it would be like to go to Jakob Nielsen’s house. I am sure it is well laid out, and very usable. As a visitor to his home, you would probably be able to walk in the from door and intuitively find any room in the house. This would really come in handy when you have visitor’s. You would never have to answer the questions, “which way to the bathroom?”
